John Vislosky

Access Spectrum

John Vislosky is a 1982 Graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Management. He proudly served in the United States Infantry and later commanded an US Army Special Forces A-Team (Green Beret), Special Operations Team. After his military service, John held senior management positions in such companies as: at Pepsi, MCI, BRV, Inc.; Korn Ferry International, Access Spectrum, LLC in 2001-2005; Kentrox, SupplyPro Inc. During his professional business tenure, John has built and successfully sold his own company, established new product sales channels and managed sales teams in over 40 countries.

In August of 2013, John was asked to return to Access Spectrum as the Senior Vice President to monetize and sell the Upper 700 MHz A Block Spectrum Licenses for the license owners. This Block of spectrum is ideal for utilities and other critical infrastructure providers given its unique propagation characteristics and nationwide availability. Additionally, John is currently a member of the ASTM F-38 (FAA Standards) Committee on Small UAS for the FAA (Subcommittee member for Command and Control Safety Standards). The 700 MHz A Block Spectrum is currently being evaluated at the Northern Plains FAA Test Site as a primary spectrum band for Beyond Line of Sight (BVLOS) control of small commercial unmanned aircraft and vehicles.
