Paul Zawada

AEP

Paul Zawada is a Principal Engineer in the Protection and Control Engineering section of AEP Transmission, serving as a subject matter expert for engineering groups responsible for implementing SCADA systems and local area networks in substations across American Electric Power’s 11-state footprint.  He is currently a member of the UTC IT/OT committee.

Mr. Zawada earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Systems from DePaul University.  He has more than 25 years of experience working with Telecommunications and Networking technologies and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states in the US.
