Mitchell Crocker, PMP, is a Senior Technical Analyst who works in Technology Operations at CenterPoint Energy located in Houston, Texas. He has lead the Succession Planning initiative, for this organization, since the beginning of 2017. He has worked in the Telecommunications field for over 14 years.
Mr. Crocker has represented CenterPoint Energy on the Technical Committee for ENTELEC (Energy, Telecommunications and Electrical) Association, as VP of Professional Development for PMI (Project Management Institute) Houston Chapter, Inc. and Young Leaders Council member for the United Way of Greater Houston. He is Chair of the Journal Committee for UTC (Utilities Technology Council), Chair of the CenterPoint Energy United Way Young Leaders Committee, member of the Volunteer Committee for the MyPoint organization of CenterPoint Energy and Chair of the Elections Committee for PMI Houston Chapter, Inc.
He serves as a community leader as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Fifth Ward Enrichment Program, Inc., five-year volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, President and PM for the Greater Southeast Community Empowerment Council and advocate for his fraternity, leading the effort to minimize domestic violence and providing positive influence on the youth throughout the state of Texas.
Mr. Crocker holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governors University. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has worked on Telecommunications infrastructure projects for over 12 years.
