Carol Bartucci

With over 30 years of service at Exelon, Carol has held a variety of positions in IT, including Director of Smart Grid Initiatives, Manager of IT Customer Meter-to-Market, and Manager of Nuclear Real Time Systems. She also spent some time in Supply as Manager of Corporate Services and Materials.

As CIO of ComEd and VP Digital Grid, she has responsibility for overseeing and coordinating IT activities across ComEd, and direct responsibility for projects and maintenance in the Telecommunications, Analytics and Smart Meter areas across all Exelon Utilities.

Currently Carol’s team is implementing a multi year, cross functional Analytics Strategy across Exelon Utilities, that will encompass all areas of the business and result in significant savings to both customers and internal operations.  She also is building out the communications network both wired and wireless in support of smart grid, utility of the future and strategic utility projects.

Carol received her Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. She is currently serving on the board of trustees at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School, and is a strong supporter of careers in the stem fields.
